A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO BECOMING A REAL-LIFE BRUCE WAYNE

PURPOSE

This portion of the site aims to provide a step-by-step guide to becoming a successful polymath, such as Bruce Wayne in real life. This page and all of its components describe each of the steps I’ve taken in my own pursuits, but also provide insights on possible alternative paths that can be taken as well.

Each phase has a main page going over the logistics of combining multiple smaller topics and strategies, which are all linked with their own dedicated pages.

4/7/2025 – I’m now leaning towards combining Phase One and Two. It seems more efficient to work on acquiring skills that’ll have a large ROI in both time and money invested first and then expand to other skills that compliment the project but may not have an immediate and apparent ROI in terms of money. For example, I’m currently working night security while studying for the CPA. Not only does this provide me with some income that I can reinvest in both further education and in financial accounts, but also allows me time to invest in working on that education. I’m putting plans together to acquire two more masters while working security, one tentatively in AI and Machine Learning from WGU and another in Financial Risk Management. These will allow me to continue working a full time job (night security) while also attending grad school full time during the day. These should allow me to start networking and building my reputation over again, having largely wasted the first 21 years of my life).

Phase One: Finance

  • The largest difference (and obstacle) for a normal person in becoming a polymath like Bruce Wayne is his wealth. While Bruce can spend his time however he likes, a normal person has to spend around a fourth of their time earning a living. Phase One focuses on buying back that time, by setting up everything financial including setting up accounts, utilizing credit cards correctly, and planning as early a retirement as possible (in 20’s). The final stage of phase 1 sees a lifestyle in which finances are on autopilot, freeing up 100% of your time to polymathic endeavors.

Phase Two: Global Apprenticeship

  • Having finances on autopilot, Phase Two sees the polymath pursue further education, such as degrees in particular areas in which Batman might derive significance from. This phase also sees the polymath travel around the world, learning from a multitude of mentors.
